This chapter talks about all the hardship Ghen faces to raise a wolf among three other dogs. Especially after stopping breast feed, dogs/wolf must be fed with really good protein foods. It is this food that will decide whether an animal grows strength or weak. Ghen here tries his level best to feed / care/ play with all his pets equally. Dogs aren't an issue but wolf on the other hand is still mysterious to Ghen. Though he felt he almost befriended him, when its eating its all another story.
