This story is about how long can a person be 'thankful' to someone who has helped her. Though it seems too much from a third person point of view it's nice to know people can be this nice.

Apart from this, the writer characterized her as an Anglo Indian who lives a difficult life. Her life is a daily struggle in terms of money, beauty or the nature herself. Still she fights hard and lead life an inspiration to those who really see her.

These days it is really rare to see Anglo Indians around. Politics had its way, most of them migrated away. Why?
